I don't miss much about India, but I do miss my wonderful friends that I made there. After Dylan was born a lot of people came to see us and share their experience and advice. Some things were absolutely invaluable such as: Tania teaching me how to burp Dylan differently to how I was doing it - it was much more effective; Stephanie telling me that Dylan wanted to eat more (and he did) and teaching me how to help him poo by bending his legs up and massaging his stomach; Gwen telling me to introduce vegetables first when I started weaning him (before giving him sweet things such as fruit); Karyn, who gave me so much advice and was always on the end of the phone whenever I had questions or concerns; and my mum, who taught me so very much (her help was just amazing and I am so happy that she was there) and so many more fantastic friends who helped me so much. I say this over and over though - no matter how much you read and how much people tell you, nothing can prepare you for the first few weeks of life with a newborn! That's when you need the help of others and I had so much support and help. Thank you all!
Here are some pictures of Dylan with me, Penri and my mum during April.
