Bits'n'Bobs from April - July 08

Whilst going through Dylan's pictures I found a couple of folders that I'd forgotten about with some photos that I want to include on here.

The first lot are when he was only a few weeks old and we needed a passport photo for him. They are pretty strict about what they will/will not accept. The person has to be facing the camera, looking at it straight on and with nothing else in the picture. Oh, and you have to have a white background, but it can't be edited in any way. My mum and I tried for AGES to get a photo and we must've taken about 100 pictures; here are a selection. In the end we went to a studio to get it done professionally.

It was really funny cause the photographer asked us to sit Dylan up by himself and we told him, he's only a few weeks old, he can't sit up by himself so then I had to hold him while the photographer took the photos. Dylan kept crying and then looking away and then he was hungry so I had to go in this little back room to feed him; it was a nightmare. My mum was stood with the photographer when he was taking the pictures and kept calling 'Dylan' trying to get him to look. Then the photographer started calling 'Helen, Helen' thinking that was Dylan's name. It was funny but the guy was so patient. After an hour and a half of being there, he finally got a photo.

Anyway, these are the ones we took at home. I can't believe how tiny he was and as you will see - in nearly every picture he's got his arms/hands in the air:

The next lot are of Dylan with Cyril the Swan (Swansea FC's mascot):

When we got to Germany, my Aunty Doris sent us a card with some money for Dylan. I always try to take pictures of gifts people send/give so that I can remember who they're from. I thought it would be nice to get a photo of Dylan holding the money, which I did:

Then, he poked himself in the eye with it:
